Weightless in the Zero-G Airbus

THIS WAS PURE FUN - WEIGHTLESS IN A ZERO-G AIRBUS Before man could conquer space, scientists needed to recreate weightlessness without going into orbit. Parabolic flights are now accessible to individuals and companies outside the space industry, keen to discover the wonders of weightlessness. For example, Novespace has organized Air Zero-G gravity-free discovery flights in Bordeaux. During a parabolic or zero-gravity flight, pilots make a specific maneuver, the parabolic maneuver, several times to recreate a state of weightlessness inside the aircraft for 22 seconds. For scientific research gravity-free flights, this maneuver is repeated 31 times and reproduces lunar and martian weightlessness, depending on the parabolas. PULL-UP - HYPERGRAVITY The pilot lifts the nose of the A310 Zero-G airbus upward from horizontal flight to an angle of 50 degrees. Passengers experience a pull of 1.8 times that of gravity on Earth. This is called hypergravity. The parabola pull-up or “nose-up” lasts around 20 seconds. PARABOLA - MICROGRAVITY The parabola starts with injection: as the aircraft travels upward the pilots reduce engine speed and the Zero-G aircraft follows a ballistic trajectory. Weightlessness begins when the aircraft enters a parabola during which it is in free fall for 22 seconds. PULL-OUT - HYPERGRAVITY The nose of the plane is tilted back downward 42 degrees, before the pilots gradually level off the aircraft as they increase engine speed. Passengers again experience a pull of 1.8 times that of gravity on Earth. After 20 seconds, the A310 Zero G returns to a horizontal trajectory. Il Mulino del Rossino - Vellano

IL MULINO DEL ROSSINO The first traces told about this old mill dating from the late 1500 and early 1600. Owned by the family Giaccai since 1920, the last handler was Scannerini Marino said "Rossino." The mill, located in the heart of Switzerland Pesciatina, is the only property to have intact the original tunnel made with the original Vellano’s stone, that connects the mill to the left side of the river Pescia. Upon exiting the tunnel, there is a private beach with exclusive access to a natural swimming pool bordered by small waterfalls. On the north side was brought to light by the current owners Letizia and Tiberio, the old stone called "gora" which made the water flow to the millpond to operate the millstones, then placed inside the mill, one of which is still visible as part of the outside sink. The building active until the early '50s, at the end of 2002 has been restored with great skill and intended for residential purposes in civil. It is composed of two apartments and a mansard, independent of each other. Each of the units is equipped with fireplace, built-in kitchen, terracotta-tiled floor and and ceilings with exposed beams. The bathrooms are completely renovated with modern standards, are endowed of showers and the mansard is endowed of jacuzzi. The green of the forest and the water flow of the river, make this place an oasis of relaxation in contact with the nature: a beautiful vien on Valleriana and a window into the past, to the discovery of an ancient world full of scents and flavors of the past. The furniture has been personally overseen by the owners, interior designers, also known at the international level, which this mill has wanted to do an emotion to share with any guests to discover a way of life. Australia - Tunnel Creek - Do Freshwater Crocodiles Attack? - Gibb River Road - Travel Tips

Australia - Tunnel Creek - Do Freshwater Crocodiles Attack? - Gibb River Road - Travel Tips LOCATION AND CAMPGROUND Tunnel Creek National Park is about 30 km south east of Windjana Gorge or 175 km from Derby. The small park is not far off the beaten track, you don't need a four wheel drive to get there and it's great fun to explore. Windjana Gorge has good camping facilities and the Windjana Gorge Campground provides showers, toilets and fire pits. THE TUNNEL The tunnel is the oldest cave system in Western Australia. It became famous when aboriginal leader and "outlaw" Jandamarra was using the "Cave of Bats" as his hideout. After years of playing hide and seek with the police he ended up being killed in front of it, by another Aboriginal tracker, in 1897. You can walk through the tunnel to the other side of the Napier Range. The trek runs underground for 750 meters and you have to wade through several pools and return the same way. At the start of the dry season they can be quite deep, and in the middle of the season they are very chilly. The roof has collapsed through to the top of the range near the center of the tunnel. Different species like bats or freshwater crocodiles live in the cave and stalactites descend from the roof in many places. TUNNEL CREEK FRESHWATER CROCODILES When you are entering the Kimberley region, you are entering crocodile country. Freshwater crocodiles inhabit Tunnel Creek. Saltwater crocodiles have not been seen but this may change. So…, just Be CROCWISE !!! STAGED CROCODILE ATTACK The last scene has been staged and never happened. Freshwater crocodiles inhabit the tunnel but are not as aggressive as saltwater crocodiles. So don't worry but be Crocwise.
